This is a traditional Indian costume my friend wore for her sweet 16's birthday...
I enjoyed a lot doing this painting but it was a heck of a lot of work. The wood canvas i used was one i made covered with Gesso paint as a base. Some colors, like the blue, became almost transparent and behaved like water colors... It was really frustrating because I had to wait till it dried and do another layer on top. It was a long process I have to say.. But as they say, we all learn from experience.
