Fire and Ice - Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Everything from her slight turn of the lips that indicates, her suppressing a smile and the mischievous and amused glint in her eyes, sucks me in. The splattered paint and imperfect shading adds to an edgy beauty that's is so obviously captured her but, the colors don't mix, showing the areas clear and without clashing harshly. A truly magnificent piece that shows not only the grace of uninhibited strokes of a brush but, the immense detail in the facial features. Such depth, so much attention to "the small things" is a severe must in this concept. And you have captured it, effortlessly. Such a work of art....
